We had a number of people ask about hardware that was more aesthetically pleasing and we mean to please. Take a gander at our new hardware.

We have been working on this for nearly six months. After many many hours of engineering, consultation and negotiation, we are having brand new door latches custom made just for "Boaphile Plastics" in Sweden. That's right our new door latches are custom built in Sweden to our specifications for our particular application. We had many folks who wanted nicer looking hardware and after nearly six months of planning we have an ultimately beautiful and very strong functional steel cam style door latch. We are all about pleasing the customer and using the best possible materials to make the best possible products for you. While our competitors are going on the cheap we are opting for long life and ease of use. Click the pictures for a larger view.

The latch is also available in a keyed lock version at a slightly higher cost. Keyed locks are keyed alike unless otherwise specified.

We have also switched to a new more eye pleasing hinge that is super heavy duty and Black to match the color most often chosen by our discriminating customers. Here is a close up view of the new black hinge.

We have cleaned our own cage doors. Thousands of door cleanings and know what is most important when cleaning a door like ours. We are using "acorn nuts" so your paper towels or rags don't get hung up as you clean. You and your herp can't get scratched on them either.
